Lost in Lisbon

I took the bus from the airport to my hotel in the center of Lisbon because I was told this was the easiest and most economical way. Of course I immediately got lost as soon as I got off the bus. I was in Portugal and didn’t know the language and I didn’t even have a map! I found my hotel and set off with my camera to explore the city. And so it begins getting lost in Lisbon…

Back in the Studio

I am back in Chicago from my amazing 3 week journey through Europe. I am excited to start digging through my photographs and share them with you! When I work in my studio I typically listen to Pandora “French Cafe” In Europe Pandora is banned through the internet so I started listening to my favorite Paris radio station – TSF Jazz. You can stream it live from any computer.

TSF JAZZ just click the listen button and Enjoy!

The Doorways of Portugal

I couldn’t resist digging into my photographs. Jet lag has gotten the best of me! These are just a few from Lisbon. I love how you can see the mosaic walkways on this first photograph. You will see many more of this in future photos from me. This is the typical sidewalk. Lisbon was my favorite city to explore!

Both are available through etsy! Just click the photograph for the link. More photographs from Lisbon coming soon!

Take a walk through rainy Madrid

I was lucky enough to only have one rainy day while I was gone. Of course it had to happen in Spain. On this rainy Sunday morning I can’t help but think of my time in Madrid. Grab a cup of coffee from your favorite cafe and walk with me.

Thank you for following!

I have returned to the states after a wonderful 3 week journey through Europe. I have met some incredible people throughout my journey and I want to give a special THANK YOU to all of them!

Once I recover from my jet lag I will be back posting photographs and more adventures from the trip. I also have favorite places to explore and eat in a lot of the places I visited. Please be patient and I promise I will be back soon!

No agenda in Paris

The best way to see Paris is to just wonder the streets. I promised myself this trip I wouldn’t do the touristy museums or monuments. I am exploring the city as a Parisian. Here are a few of my photos from my adventures yesterday.

Last day in Paris. Spending the day cafe hopping!

Morning Light in Paris

There is nothing like the quiet morning in a busy city like Paris. This Saturday morning I set off very early to explore the city of Paris. The light was perfect and as usual I found myself out way later than I had planned. I started at the Louvre and walked the Seine into the narrow streets. I love all the reflections I found with the morning light.

All photographs are available on etsy. Just click on the photograph and it will send you to the site
