As fourth of July approaches my desire to be on the beach again grows. The beach in Nice is filled with extremely large rocks that aren’t the most comfortable to lounge on if you don’t have a chair. But that doesn’t seem to stop the French!

Paradise in the French Riviera
0If you know me personally, you know how much I love country music. There is a Zac Brown Band song called “Knee Deep” that takes me back to the beach from my trip on the French Riviera. Here is the photograph and the lyrics. Read the lyrics and imagine yourself on the beach. Everyone needs a little peace and relaxation!
“Wishing I was knee deep in the water somewhere
Got the blue sky breeze and it don’t seem fair
Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair
Sunrise there’s a fire in the sky
Never been so happy
Never felt so high
And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise”

In the Tulleries – Paris, France
0One of my favorite things to do during my latest trip to Paris was sit in the lawn in the Tulleries. It was my first thing I did this trip and I planned to do it everyday. For people that haven’t been to Paris or don’t know the Tulleries is a garden outside of the Louvre museum. People gather here all day long to picnic, play music with friends, or just lay in the grass. Its also great people watching. If I was in Paris right now this is where I would want to be!
