Happy Birthday Madame Eiffel

6

Today 125 years ago the eiffel tower was completed in Paris, France. I don’t feel like a trip to Paris is real until I see her. The eiffel tower sparkles every hour on the hour after dark. You can see the eiffel tower best at night from the Trocadero which is just across the street from the eiffel tower. There is a metro stop right there so you really can’t miss it!

Cafe Life in Paris in Black and White

15

Cafes are a big part of Paris life. Apartments are small and Parisians spend a good amount of their time at local cafes. People watching at cafes can last hours on end as there are always new characters and the wardrobes are pretty fantastic. Paris feels like walking on a never ending movie set.

Paris Market Photos – Kitchen Set

6

If you haven’t figured by now one of my favorite things to do in Paris is to walk the Paris Markets. I don’t have to buy anything I just really love seeing the way they display everything. It really makes me happy to make the markets part of my walks through Paris. I put together this set now available on Etsy of different market photos for some French Kitchen Art

Last week in Paris

0

My last week in Paris feels like a blur. I had friends visit and really loved showing them around Paris. Spring really popped towards the end of my trip and I am so glad I was able to experience a little of that before my trip ended. On my list for a while has been Duc des Lombards which I fit in on the very last night with some very special friends. Here are a few photos from my last few days in Paris.

Paris Dreaming

5

This is the last photograph I took before leaving Paris. It was extremely early before the sun was awake. I needed to have a few moments reflecting and say my gratitude to the city. Its blurred for a reason (do not adjust your screens) It was a perfect way to sum up my 5 weeks in Paris. Dreamy, beautiful, and magical. I had no expectations this time when arriving in Paris. I had a few goals and projects I was hoping to work on. I spent everyday living to the fullest. I jumped puddles in the rain and sat at cafes laughing with friends. As I sat at the CDG airport waiting to leave dreamland I tears fell down my face. They were not tears of sadness but happy tears. I am so grateful I was able to take this journey and I know I will be back very soon. After all I do have a book to finish! 😉
