As the Summer is quickly coming to an end there are still a few weeks left to enjoy the beaches and boardwalks. Take a ride on the Wonder Wheel at Coney Island. Grab yourself a Nathan’s hot dog and have a seat in the sand…
Every time I am in Paris, I try to leave something undiscovered for my next trip. I knew this year I wanted to do a series of carousels. There are a lot more in Paris than you may think. There are two at the eiffel tower right across from each other! So it begins my series of carousels in the city of lights and Europe. Where is your favorite carousel?
Growing up my grandmother had an antique carousel horse in her living room. As a child, my sister and I used to play on the carousel horse when we went to visit. Now that I am older, when I see a carousel it reminds me of my childhood and puts a smile on my face. Here is a recent carousel photograph from my travels. Stay tuned for more carousels this week!
Tibidado is located in the hills of Barcelona. You can see it very high up from most points in the city. It takes a while to get there. You must take the train, bus, and cable car to the very top. At the top houses a church and a hundred year old amusement park. Some of the rides are not working but there are a few still running. This place offers great views of the city too!
