Yesterday I had lunch at Embarcadero in San Francisco. The inside food hall was filled with different restaurants, coffee, pastries, and cheeses. We grabbed lunch and sat outside. The scenery was beautiful. We had a view of the bay bridge and watched the sailboats go by…

Hello San Fran!

Its my first trip to California in 8 years and my first time with a camera in hand. The weather is amazing! Its sunny and not too hot and the gardens are starting to bloom. My location for the next month is pretty fantastic. The house I am staying in neighbors a woman who is a professional chef. My first night here she invited us over for homemade pizza in her Italian oven. Much more on Terri in later posts.

Yesterday we took a trip to Treasure Island for the famous flea market. There were great views of the Bay Bridge and The Golden Gate. Here is a view of Bay Bridge from Treasure Island. The flowers in bloom.
