I have been given the wonderful opportunity to travel to Switzerland this January. A friend of mine lives there with her family and has invited me to visit! I will be traveling in Switzerland including Zurich and Baden. I am still trying to narrow down where I want to travel on the weekends. I am open to suggestions and would love what you have to say! I have never been skiing before so this might be my first attempt. Of course I will be blogging this whole time so stay tuned for lots of adventures early 2012!!

An afternoon stroll through Switzerland
1Just 3 hours by train from Paris is Switzerland. I have friends that just recently moved close to Zurich so we met for an afternoon during my trip to Paris. It feels like Europe but so different from Paris and France all together. There were a few language barriers and I was surprised it costs to use the bathroom everywhere. Joy and Christof took my Dad and me for a wonderful walk through the Old City. I am still dreaming about the pretzels and chocolate. I can’t wait to go back and visit again!!
A new venture into wholesale
1In January I participated in the wholesale show Beckmans at the Merchandise Mart here in Chicago. This was a new venture into the wholesale world. I am happy to say I have work in stores in Indiana, Michigan, North Dakota, and Illinois.
I had the opportunity to visit one of my stores today in Highland Park, IL called CityWoods Here is a photograph of some of my pieces on their wall. They do a great job merchandising their store. If you are in the area stop by and take a look!

Strolling through London
0My favorite part of being a photographer is being able to explore new places. I am planning a trip to Europe in May. Its been a year since I have been to London. I had an amazing time exploring this beautiful city. I was fortunate enough to have two wonderful hosts. They lived on the outside of London in Essex. It was such a quaint little town. My hosts had never explored Essex or London with a photographer. Here are some of my favorites from the trip!
This is my favorite place. I originally found this in London but later found out its a French Patisserie. They are all over Paris and a few in England. You can even find one on Lincoln Road in Miami. I have visited the one in the states recently and its just as good as the Parisian Paul.
