Its easy to fall in love with the South of France when you are taken care of like I was at La Bruyle. While staying in the South I was able to explore the neighbors a bit while taking a walk down the gravel roads. I know the roses are much higher now than during my visit and the garden is full with berries. So many reasons to go back!

I have been working on a few exciting projects for 2015/2016 that have been keeping me busy. I recently was digging through the archives looking through my Venice pictures and thought I would share a few of my favorites. I don’t think I will make it to Venice this trip in October but it still remains one of my favorite cities.
I have heard rumors of how stressful Paris apartment hunting can actually be. In the past I have found it challenging but not too bad. This last time around its getting to be more difficult. I am not sure if its because of the success and popularity of airbnb or the trend of renting apartments in Paris. I will have to fill you all in on the good/bad details of the apartment hunt after my current apartment is confirmed. Fingers crossed please! Once its confirmed I can start the fun start of planning. I can’t wait to catch up with friends over coffee and glasses of wine at the many outdoor cafes in the city. Oh and I plan on traveling to another country! Any guesses?
One of my favorite times in Paris is when the lights turn on in the city as its just starting to get dark. I tried to get up to a rooftop to watch the sunset and the terrace had closed. I ran to the Seine to see what was left of the sunset and I was able to capture this photograph and the exact moment I love so much.
My trip to Versailles with La Cuisine Paris was a full day including a tour of the Potager du Roi, a visit to the Versailles market where we picked up delicious cheeses, a four course meal including a cheese course (from the market), and a ticket to explore Versailles.
While walking through the town of Versailles I shot these beautiful blue doors. The town is just a short train ride away from Paris and even if you don’t visit the Chateau the town is beautiful!
There is no shortage of unique beautiful colored doors on the streets of Paris. Here is a collection of blue doors from my walks earlier this year. If you link to my Facebook page you will have a chance to win this set of 4 8×10 prints.
