Happy Fathers Day

0

I have been lucky enough to spend time with my Dad traveling the past few years. For the past 4 years we have had a tradition of taking a summer trip together. These will always be some of my favorite memories. Our last trip was to Paris where he will never let me forget how much I made him walk! I love to explore Paris on foot and I forgot he wasn’t in his 20’s. We did spend some time relaxing in the Paris parks. Here are a few photos from our trip that remind me of my Dad.

Boats in the Tulleries

First off I just want to say thanks for all your wonderful feedback lately. I really love hearing what you guys think!

I have always seen the beautiful wooden boats in Luxembourg Gardens but my most recent trip to Paris I came across them in the Tulleries. I was having a picnic in the Tulleries on a brisk winter morning and I look up to find this adorable older man with a cart full of wooden boats. Which boat would you choose?

Early Morning in Venezia

I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to make it to Venice this weekend. I had my mind set on going but the train ride was about 8 hours each way. It was well worth the trip!! I explored the city including Burano with my camera and I can’t wait to share my photographs! It will take me days to edit so please be patient as I post new pictures throughout the week.

I love the gondelier in the right hand corner.

Snow Topped Swiss Mountains

This weekend was filled with lots of train travel and an amazing boat ride in between. I spent the weekend in Lausanne and traveled to Geneva and Montreaux. I will fill you in this week on everything individually. The highlight of the weekend was the boat ride to Montreaux. It rained towards the end of the boat ride so I didn’t get to explore the actual town for very long. I grew up in Ohio and never saw anything close to the beauty of what I saw this weekend.

I have traveled on the boats between the towns in the Amalfi Coast in the Summer which is beautiful but this in freezing January was a sight to see. I hope you enjoy this photograph as much as I do!!

Peace, Love, and Travel

At my latest show I put together a set of 24 12×12 canvas pieces. These were all French themed but could be mixed and matched to create a set. The part that I love most about this is that everyone creates different sets. Its what photos make a personal connection with the customer. Here is a photograph of this part of the booth.

One of my favorite sets a customer put together this week was a set of 3 canvas pieces that spelled out Peace, Love, Travel.

Peace

I love you from around the world

All photographs are available on 12×12 canvas pieces and hang on the wall with just one nail. Makes a great gift or an easy way to dress up an empty white wall!
