My favorite days in Paris are spent with a long walk on the Seine. There was beautiful weather today. Cold but sunny. This photograph explains it all. When there is a nice day in Paris there is no better place to be than on the Seine.
My first visitor (my step-sister) has arrived in Paris and she has never been out of the country. I am giving her the whirlwind tour of my favorite city. She is getting used to my long walks because its the best way to see the city! We had breakfast on the balcony and headed off to explore.
We ended the day with a coffee at my favorite place Cafe de Flore.
I met up with a friend in the 13th arrondissement yesterday for a walk around a new neighborhood. Since it snowed the previous day there was still a lot of snow on the ground. As the day progressed and the sun came out the snow started to melt. I was lucky to get these photographs in the Cite Florale.
Cite Florale is a little part of the 13th that is quaint and all the streets are named after flowers. It was lovely to see in the snow but I hope to come back to see the area in the Spring.
