Barcelona in Black and White

Things have been busy here in Chicago! I am packing up my apartment to move and getting ready for the One of A Kind Show which is at the beginning of December. It wouldn’t seem so overwhelming if I wasn’t leaving for a week for Thanksgiving this month. Thank you all that follow and all of my new followers! I am so amazed at all the countries my blog is able to reach.

Here is a little glimpse of Barcelona in Black and White. Enjoy and I hope you all had a great weekend.

Paris rooftops in the Winter

I love all the unique rooftops in Paris. The architecture, the detailed windows, and I love the chimneys. I can only imagine how beautiful they look on the inside.

Join me for the next 30 days as I travel and photograph the San Francisco/Bay Area! If you have any recommendations on places to explore or eat I would love to hear them.

Early Morning on The Canal in Venice

Ride the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy early in the morning for a beautiful view of the city.

Romantic Paris Windows

When you walk through the streets of Paris is always important to look up because you might miss out. I found this street that had these beautiful romantic windows open on a quiet street in Paris taking in the summer air.  8×10 matte or glossy photograph available here

The Best Chocolate Croissant in Paris

As I meet people throughout the year that are planning a trip to Paris I love to pass on my favorites in Paris. So today I am going to share with you my favorite chocolate croissant in Paris. I have tried many over the years. My most recent trip a few months ago I gathered croissant from several places around Paris and brought them back to Switzerland. We warmed them in the oven and taste tested them.

Located in Montmartre on Sunday there was a line of 10 people deep. The line moves quickly so don’t be discouraged. The pastries are worth it!! Click here for locations in the Paris area.

Glowing City at Dusk

After returning from an adventure on the island of Burano I was greeted by the sun setting amongst the city of Venice creating a golden glow with the shadows of the Venetian architecture.

An afternoon in Luxembourg Gardens

Luxembourg Gardens has a beautiful garden in the summer filled with colorful flowers. But there are more than beautiful flowers to be admired. I love people watching and this is the place! There are people playing tennis, kids playing tag, older couples reading newspapers, and my favorite the men playing chess. So take a moment to admire the chess players of Paris.
