The last few weeks have been crazier than imagined. Between NYC a few summer shows in the Chicago area and an event at Kiehls for life ride. I hope to update you on all those things in the next few weeks. One more event that I am participating in is an Etsy Pop up at West Elm in Lincoln Park next weekend. More details can be found here.

A man’s new best friend

2

This past weekend in between packing and getting ready for my upcoming shows I had dinner with my wonderful next door neighbors. Chris recently got a package from a new service coming to Chicago. He was kind enough to share the wine and flowers but the chocolates were already eaten. This fabulous service is a man’s new best friend and it combines three great things in one great package. A beautifully flower arrangement, gourmet chocolates, and Napa Valley Wine. Kalla recently launched in Miami and is now here in Chicago. There are several different flower options which have fabulous vase designs. I can personally say if this box arrived at my house I would be one happy girl.

Rue de Grenelle Paris Market

3

Take the metro to the Grenelle stop on a Sunday morning and you will be welcomed with one of the most beautiful and amazing Paris markets. I arrived early in the morning as I had a long agenda of places to go on my Sunday in Paris. There are fish, cheese, olive, meat, and flower vendors lining the street under the metro. I picked up some comte cheese and some fruit and olives for my trip back to Switzerland. I love supporting the local French vendors that stand in the cold on a Sunday morning. If you are in Paris this is a must see!

Venice Blues

2

The island of Burano located about an hour boat ride from Venice is known for their colored houses and lace. The houses were painted different colors so when the sailors came home after a few drinks they could find their house. I was especially drawn to the beautiful blue doorways on this island. Here are a few!

Luxembourg Gardens a Paris Retreat

2

Tourists and locals alike gather at the Luxembourg Gardens to relax and spend time with each other. You will find people gathered in green chairs watching the children playing in the water with their boats. Its a beautiful retreat in the city of Paris, France. Around the large pond in the middle kids of all ages will be pushing wooden boats with sticks. This is a favorite past time of Parisians young and old.

Giverny – Monet’s Garden in the French Countryside

Drive through the French countryside to Giverny.  This is where Monet found his inspiration. Here are some views of the garden and you will be able to see how beautiful it remains.
