A taste of Champagne

2

Yesterday on a very cold October day I ventured with friends to the Champagne region. We packed into the car with two kids. Yes! We took two small kids to Champagne and I have never seen two kids behave better. I kept begging the Dad for his secret. Two hours each way the kids played and we practiced French. A huge thank you to Nico for driving around Champagne as he literally stopped with a moments notice for me to jump out and photograph.

We arrived home super late last night so here is just a taste of Champagne with more to follow later!

Paris Flea Market Finds

7

One of my favorite activities in Paris is walking the puces or flea markets. I prefer the Clignancourt market which is just at the end of line 4 close to Montmartre. I found this very helpful Girls Guide to Paris post which helped me navigate the streets a little better. Two places for food that I enjoy. The first is right when you exit the metro there is a boulangerie. There is a small chance I like this boulangerie for the fact that I had a pain au chocolat right out of the oven. I don’t know the name but there always seems to be a line which is a good indication that its a good place to stop. The other is Paul Bert which is found on Paul Bert street. I love to pop by and have a coffee up at the bar either at the beginning of my walk or midway through. Here are a few pictures from Paul Bert before starting the to look for my Flea Market Finds.

Sun Kissed Pont Alexandre iii

0

There are so many bridges in Paris but the Pont Alexandre iii is my favorite. It is stunning in all light and then there are the lanterns. If you get the chance to watch the sunset walk close to the pont alexandre iii. You can even sit on the Seine and watch the sunset. The lanterns will start to glow because of the sun setting. They don’t turn on until later but its a very cool effect if you watch for it. Now available in my etsy shop

Windows on the Seine – Nightfall in Paris

Windows on the Seine - Nightfall in Paris

One of my favorite times in Paris is when the lights turn on in the city as its just starting to get dark. I tried to get up to a rooftop to watch the sunset and the terrace had closed. I ran to the Seine to see what was left of the sunset and I was able to capture this photograph and the exact moment I love so much.

All that Sparkles

0

Its been a very eventful couple of days for me in Paris. I can’t share all of the details but I will fill you in during the Fall months. Paris has been filled with adventures. I have been here for 2 weeks and still pinch myself, I feel so lucky. This city is beautiful and I am still discovering all that it has to offer. So here is a little sparkle from Paris.
