Paris apartment hunting

I have heard rumors of how stressful Paris apartment hunting can actually be. In the past I have found it challenging but not too bad. This last time around its getting to be more difficult. I am not sure if its because of the success and popularity of airbnb or the trend of renting apartments in Paris. I will have to fill you all in on the good/bad details of the apartment hunt after my current apartment is confirmed. Fingers crossed please! Once its confirmed I can start the fun start of planning. I can’t wait to catch up with friends over coffee and glasses of wine at the many outdoor cafes in the city. Oh and I plan on traveling to another country! Any guesses?

Spring light

Today was absolutely beautiful with the light in Paris and the warmth from the sun. Its really feeling like Spring. The cafes are filled with tables outside and there isn’t an empty seat in sight. I want to soak up every minute. Currently as I am waiting for my guests to arrive for the weekend I am enjoying the fresh smell of honeysuckle from my courtyard. Its heavenly!

The quiet part of Montmartre

One of my favorite places to stroll the streets is on the other side of Sacre Coeur. Filled with Paris rooftops galore this is the quiet side.
