I loved the red balloon project that I started late last year in Paris. Continuing the red balloon project in the winter/spring had its challenges because there were very few days where the weather was not windy/rainy/too cold. I was able to get out for a little bit with the balloons to continue the series. It still amazes me how the simple object of a red balloon can bring so much joy to people’s faces.

A winter day in Paris
10My first day in Paris I made the mistake of napping when I arrived. I slept a little too long and was up most of the night. A few cafe cremes to keep me going through the day and no worries. I explored my neighborhood a bit and walked down rue mouffetard and to the marais and back. I ended up spending the evening at the American Library listening to Ann Mah of Mastering the Art of French Eating speak with Patricia Wells of The Food Lovers Guide to Paris they were both fantastic! Here are some photos from throughout the day. I promise apartment pictures tomorrow xo
Coffee Table Book ideas
8Its been a big goal and dream to have a coffee table for years now. As I travel back and forth to Paris I am putting together some ideas. I have a few that I want to remain quiet but I have a few ideas I can share and would love your feedback. I have thought about doing a series of collections from Paris : bikes , cars, doors, maybe market photos? Here are a few more of the doors I would add to the book:
ready to take on 2014
5The new year was a few days ago and since it fell in the middle of the week I feel there was a little more time to reflect and gear up for the new year. Today as everyone goes back to school/work we are all ready for a fresh start. I am not sure exactly what 2014 has in store for me just yet. I have some goals and ideas that I will share with you all soon. Thank you so much for all of your support and feedback. I really appreciate it! I am ready to take on 2014. Are you? xo
Night fall on the Seine
1One of my favorite things too when I am in Paris is to watch the light change on the Seine. From early morning light to the light just before the sun sets. Coming to Ile St Louis to watch the sunset and the lights turn on was on my list. Thankfully I did it at the beginning of October when it was somewhat warm once the sun set. If you have the chance I highly recommend it. I made sure to find this spot several times during my month in Paris.
