Beverly Hills Hotel

0

I talked earlier about creating content for luxury hotels and while I was in LA I was able to tour two and stay at one. Let’s just say staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel was a huge dream. I mean its absolutely gorgeous and every detail and thought of its pretty incredible. I walked into my room and I think I cried tears of happiness. The full tour was on snapchat. If you aren’t on you must start following. Its not just for teenagers but businesses create 24 hour stories.

Its known as the pink palace and you can see why. Everything was pink!! Pink is my favorite color so I was in heaven…

My little terrace had a wall full of Jasmine and I was in absolute heaven with the smell!! I was so happy to find this after writing about missing the jasmine in Italy

There are 12 acres that make up the property grounds of the Beverly Hills Hotel and it is all as pretty as this spot!

Everything had the Beverly Hills Logo on it. Including the champagne! They left these cherries and chocolates for me to snack on and I couldn’t resist enjoying them on the jasmine filled balcony. Can you blame me?!

I am extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to visit The Beverly Hills Hotel with Grand Luxury this past weekend! If you get the chance to stay here you must book!

Spring… to be continued

21

Two years ago I spent the most magical three months in Paris which has sparked a desire to return many times over. I experienced bitter cold days, snow, and the transition to Spring. As an American in Paris I could only spend 90 days in Paris without a Visa. Spring came later than usual because of the cold temperatures so just as I was leaving Spring was sprouting everywhere. You could feel the first days of Spring in the air. Terraces were filled with patrons and blossoms were popping up everywhere. My heart was breaking as I walked onto the plane, tears running down my face as I had lost a great love. I had in a way… Paris. I pushed back my Spring trip this year for many reasons.

One being I wanted to celebrate my birthday with my family. My sister and 20 month old niece will be in this week and will be sending me off on Sunday. I am so excited to see them and honestly I love them more than french baguettes, butter, and cheese combined. From pictures that have been posted in Paris the weather is warm and the blossoms have been popping. Its pretty much exactly where I left off two years ago and I guess I couldn’t have planned it any better. I am incredibly lucky to get the best of both worlds between being with family and experiencing Spring in Paris. As an added bonus my Aunt and Uncle will be joining me in Paris/Amsterdam later this month.

A few weeks back one of my instagram followers purchased some of my photos. She lives in Paris which was a special honor to send her photos of her own city. She snapped this adorable photo of when she opened her package this weekend. This is my Monday Motivation. What’s yours?

The last few weeks I have been on the move and in between spending time with family.  I have been busy balancing work and planning for this next trip to Paris. I am also planning a side trip to Italy and I am looking for suggestions. If you have any favorite cities, restaurants, must see places please share! I haven’t been to Florence in 7 years and Rome its been 11 so I think I might need to pay them a visit. Plus I have been craving gelato and pasta. A perfect reason for a visit. Well that and the fact that I haven’t explored these two cities with my camera in a while. As the years go by my eye changes and its fun to see the city in a different way.

If you are on instagram and would like to follow you can see my daily photos here @rebeccaplotnick I promise to keep you up to date on my travels through Italy/Paris. This should provide a little armchair travel if you can’t make it to Europe.

Here are a few photos from last years Autumn in Paris:

Artifacts Uprising – Autumn In Paris Book

10

A few months back I learned about the book maker Artifacts Uprising through pinterest of course 🙂 I couldn’t wait to try them out. My first book is an 8 1/2 x 8 1/2″ book. The reason why I loved this amongst all the other book makers was their format, style, and simplicity. The books are just absolutely beautiful! I shared my book with my family last night and they felt like they were right there with me. I hope you enjoy a sneak preview. I will be making many more books with Artifacts Uprising soon! They also have an app for your phone to make a book from your instagram photos. What’s not to love?!
