Pops of Red in Paris

Even on the grayest days in Paris you can find pops of color around the city. One of my favorites and most popular in Paris is the color red. Perhaps I am still in the Valentine’s Day mood but here you go!

Back to Paris in February

I am happy to say my apartment and flight have been booked for early February. I am looking forward to being back in my favorite city and exploring a whole new area. I will be staying in the 5th arrondisement, far from Montmartre. I will still be back in my old neighborhood visiting friends and my favorite boulangeries. I am excited to get lost in Paris and discover new places.

I really loved the red balloon series that I have posted here often and would love to continue it. I was able to cover a lot of ground but still want to place the red balloons around the city. If there are any suggestions I would love to hear them! If I choose your location I will send you a signed print from Paris.

Love in Paris

Love seems to be all over Paris. I spotted this on the wall in St Germain today.

An afternoon in Paris

My first visitor left early this morning and I was so tempted to nap. The weather was just too nice after the cold days we have had. I want to enjoy everyday to the fullest so I pushed through. I walked from the Eiffel tower to Marais.

I spent a lot of my time walking under the bridges along the Seine. The lines on this bridge caught my eye and then this older older gentlemen came into my frame. He was way more interesting than the empty bridge and my camera followed him…

May you have a wonderful weekend wherever you are!

Love is in the Air in Paris

Paris is a great place to be on Valentine’s Day. Its the city of love. You throw in a bunch of rain and it just gets even more romantic. Happy valentine’s day to you all and enjoy the picture journey.

LOVE in Paris

Living in Montmartre the Puces market isn’t too far away from me. Its just a few train stops to one of my favorite places in Paris. There are so many things I wish I could bring back with me. For now I have to take pictures and I have 3 months to figure out how to get my favorite antiques back to Chicago… I did find a little Love today in Paris tooImage
