Join me for a walk through the French Quarter in New Orleans on a cold Fall morning.
This weekend I headed to New Orleans to attend a vow renewal for friends. It was cold and windy much like Chicago this weekend but I still managed a quick walk through the French Quarter.
The city is getting ready for the Super Bowl early next year. Streets are being paved and houses are being repainted. The rustic French Quarter that I know and love is quickly getting a face lift. I did find a few favorites on my cold walk.
There are people that absolutely love black and white and there are others such as my Aunt and Uncle who love color. I say this because each room in their house is a different bright color. They crave bright colors! So this post is dedicated to the people that love color in their art. Hopefully you will find a gift they love as much as color!
I love getting lost in different cities with my camera. Its the best way to see a place! I explored New Orleans last year and especially loved the French Quarter. The colors were so vibrant. Here are a few photographs from my adventure:

In January I participated in the wholesale show Beckmans at the Merchandise Mart here in Chicago. This was a new venture into the wholesale world. I am happy to say I have work in stores in Indiana, Michigan, North Dakota, and Illinois.
I had the opportunity to visit one of my stores today in Highland Park, IL called CityWoods Here is a photograph of some of my pieces on their wall. They do a great job merchandising their store. If you are in the area stop by and take a look!
