NYC We will Never Forget

2

Where were you on September 11? I was a Sophomore at Indiana University. I was getting ready for class and my roommate who was a journalism major was watching the news. We watched together in silence. NYC we will never forget.

Carousel in Bryant Park

I have been to NYC several times but never had a chance to visit Bryant Park. I stopped here for a few minutes on my last trip to NYC and fell in love. Its so peaceful and beautiful. I could sit here for hours. I love that they have movies in the park and yoga here. If I lived in NYC this would be my place. My Aunt says she comes here in the morning to read the newspaper in the summer.

My eye immediately was drawn to the beautiful carousel in a blue green color with large butterflies. It blends in to the greenery of the park but the gold lights catch your eye.

One of my favorite places to photograph is NYC. This weekend will be filled with family and sightseeing. I used to travel to NY for work so its been a long time since I have been a tourist. I will have my camera on hand and can’t wait to explore. My Uncle has lived in NYC for years and it will be fun to see the city through his eyes. Check back for new photographs from my NYC adventure!

I heart NYC

A little tribute to NYC. One of my favorite places in NYC is Central Park. I find it so relaxing and beautiful. The best thing I can compare it to is my walks on the Seine. I have a few favorite photographs from Central Park. Most recently a furniture store that I am working with, Nest Furniture here in Chicago purchased this photograph for their showroom. I love how one piece can really complete the room.
