It was 13 years ago when the twin towers fell from the terrorist attacks on 9/11. I was in my second year of college at Indiana University my college roommate at the time was a journalism major and had the routine of watching the news in the morning. While getting dressed for our morning class my roommate came into my room to tell me the news. We watch the news with blank faces and goosebumps, tears in our eyes. It feels like it was yesterday. Never forget the thousands of people that died on that day and all of the families that were affected then and now from a terrible tragedy. Tell the people you care about that you love them and hold your family close.

Thank you NYC
2This past long weekend I was in NYC for meetings and to photograph one of my favorite cities. I kept a very busy schedule but was able to meet up with some friends that were so kind to show me their city. I had a little time on the weekend to spend catching up with my Aunt and Uncle where my Aunt cooked the most amazing ravioli from scratch. I napped in the hammock while the sunset and we spent hours in the kitchen catching up while we cooked. I have a lot of catching up to do with getting out orders and editing in my free time. I hope to share some photos of my favorite places soon!
Fete Paradiso – NYC
0This past weekend while in NYC I visited the Fete Paradiso on Governers Island. It was still extremely hot but the area was still extremely crowded. The grounds were filled with vintage French carousels. Lots of people were dressed up to participate in the festivities. I loved this family on the bicycle carousel.
