Good things come in all size packages

My work launched at Pottery Barn a little over a week ago and the glow has not left my face. I am beyond thrilled to be working with such a great company. My friends at Pottery Barn sent me a package today of one of my framed pieces so I could see the finished product. I received the green subway framed with a mat and black frame. It also came with a small bio about me. The presentation was so well done and I am so pleased how it all turned out! I have it proudly displayed in my office alongside a framed page of the Pottery Barn catalog.

The first chicago train vs NYC train

The first Chicago “L” was created in 1893 which was gas and not electric until 1898. Before 1900 steam engines pulled trains. This NYC train is from 1907. Notice the similarities between the two. Which do you like better?

NYC Romance

Every time I visit NYC I see it in a different light. I usually travel and photograph on my own because I can make my own schedule. If you travel with me you have to be very patient. This trip I traveled with my family and they had to keep a close eye on me. I would find something that would catch my eye and they would cross the street and I would get lost in the crowd. It was still great to be with my family and explore the city of NYC. I really love NY and its one of my all time favorite cities to visit and photograph! What’s your favorite city to visit?

Chasing the Sun in NYC

I had been walking the streets of NYC all day and the sun began to set in NYC. When I looked to the west the sun was coming straight down the streets lighting them up with a golden hue. I quickly stepped into the street to capture this photograph. My favorite part of the day is the golden hour. Enjoy!

NYC Subway Series on Canvas

At the One of A Kind Show in Chicago this past December I had my subway series of NYC subway cars through the decades on display. I had a couple purchase the series in size 30×45. They sent me this photograph of their dining room with the series hanging. Its available for purchase on etsy.
