Paris Flea Market Finds

7

One of my favorite activities in Paris is walking the puces or flea markets. I prefer the Clignancourt market which is just at the end of line 4 close to Montmartre. I found this very helpful Girls Guide to Paris post which helped me navigate the streets a little better. Two places for food that I enjoy. The first is right when you exit the metro there is a boulangerie. There is a small chance I like this boulangerie for the fact that I had a pain au chocolat right out of the oven. I don’t know the name but there always seems to be a line which is a good indication that its a good place to stop. The other is Paul Bert which is found on Paul Bert street. I love to pop by and have a coffee up at the bar either at the beginning of my walk or midway through. Here are a few pictures from Paul Bert before starting the to look for my Flea Market Finds.

Paris Market Photos – Kitchen Set

6

If you haven’t figured by now one of my favorite things to do in Paris is to walk the Paris Markets. I don’t have to buy anything I just really love seeing the way they display everything. It really makes me happy to make the markets part of my walks through Paris. I put together this set now available on Etsy of different market photos for some French Kitchen Art

Laduree Macaron

Laduree Macaron

I was very lucky to have a visit from my friend Jane from La Cusine Paris in Chicago this weekend. Jane and I became friends in Paris and it was so great to catch up with her in person. She brought me a surprise of Laduree macarons. Each flavor was one of my favorites (ok I have a few…) I was so excited to photograph and then eat everyone of them. The question is. which one would you eat first? raspberry, salted caramel, chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, coffee. They disappeared so quickly but I still have the pretty box

Saturday stroll in Paris

4

I met up with a new friend today for a coffee this afternoon. Paris was too beautiful to stay inside so we drank our coffee and decided to go for a Saturday stroll around the Canal St Martin. This turned into a long walk exploring the streets of Paris. My favorite thing to do!

Macaron Day 2013 Paris

1

Today was Macaron Day in Paris sponsored by Pierre Herme. I picked up a few from participating macaron shops on my daily walk today. I collected salted butter caramel, violet, one with basil, pistachio and apricot, passion fruit and chocolate

I am a bit on sugar overload but it was a lot of fun to taste some new flavors and of course play with my food!
