Stairs and cafe stops

I am not sure which is more tired, my computer, my camera or my feet… That being said just a few photos for today. Of course one for the cafe collection that I have started. Thank you all for your wonderful feedback!

Tuesday Paris Walk 2/25

Today I met up with my friend Olivier in the pouring rain for a walk around Paris. It was so fun popping behind courtyards and hidden doorways for todays shoot. We walked a good amount of the city and in between we tasted chocolate and coffees. My feet are exhausted and so are my eyes but I wanted to share a few images from today.

Friday Giveaway – What are you grateful for?

Its crazy to think that it was a year ago that I packed up my Chicago apartment put everything into storage for a chance to spend four months in Paris. It took a lot of planning, wishing and the help of so many amazing people. It felt as I had a complicated puzzle and all the pieces fit together. I am so grateful for all the people that supported me along the way!

I have an exact plan for 2014 but I do know that my life will bring me back to Paris very soon. I have a few projects that I am working on and an idea that I hope will turn into something grand. More about that another day.

So this Friday’s giveaway is to tell me what you are most grateful for this year. Big or small and you will have the chance to win a $50 gift certificate to my etsy shop. Just go to my FB page or you can enter here in the comments.

Exploring the streets off of the big Boulveards in Paris

I loved my daily walk through Montmartre with my camera and baguette in hand each morning. Rain or shine I would venture out. I lived off of Boulevard de Rochechouart which was busy and with the train passing by it was not too quiet. I found this quaint cobble stone street off the busy Boulevard that caught my eye. Image

Monday Walk in Paris

My favorite walk in Paris was my morning walk to pick up my baguette. I lived at the base of Sacre Couer and my favorite place to get my baguette was on Rue des Abbesses. Rain, Shine, or Snow this was my morning routine. I wish I could capture the smell of the bread baking in the morning. Image

last morning walk… at least for now

I can’t believe that 3 months flew by so quickly. I enjoyed every moment in Paris. The freezing cold, the snow, the rain, and the sunshine. When asked what my favorite thing about Paris was it was my daily walks with my camera. Mostly in the early morning when the city was quiet. I can’t wait to go back…
