This weekend I had a tent with my artwork set up at the Taste of Lincoln. 40 selected artists set up their tents full of items on Lill Street just off of Lincoln. At night artists close up their tent and security walks the streets to make sure nothing is taken. This time things were different. As I approached my booth Sunday morning I noticed huge holes on my wall of missing product. I checked to see if they fell and no, they were MISSING!! These were two sets of photographs on canvas that were from Nice, France and Lisbon, Portugal. A value of $920. I have to take it as a compliment I guess that someone loved my work enough to steal it. Which is why I think I might be the next Picasso. If you own some of my work you are lucky! 😉
*if you happen to find these at your local pawn shop or your neighbors wall please let me know*
I will be at Wilmette Farmers Market this weekend if you want to stop by and say hi! Next Sunday I leave for Paris but I will leave that information for another post.
