Valentines Day in Paris

Valentines Day in Paris is not what it is like in the States. I think a lot of people come to Paris to celebrate the romantic holiday but its nothing like the Hallmark holiday we have. I arrived on February 1, 2013 last year and you barely knew that Valentines Day was coming. In the States the aisles are lined with red and pink from the day after Christmas until February 15th. Paris is a romantic city year round. The city has romance oozing out from all ends. So if you are planning to celebrate Valentines Day in Paris you are a lucky one but if you can’t any other day will do!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Back to Paris in February

I am happy to say my apartment and flight have been booked for early February. I am looking forward to being back in my favorite city and exploring a whole new area. I will be staying in the 5th arrondisement, far from Montmartre. I will still be back in my old neighborhood visiting friends and my favorite boulangeries. I am excited to get lost in Paris and discover new places.

I really loved the red balloon series that I have posted here often and would love to continue it. I was able to cover a lot of ground but still want to place the red balloons around the city. If there are any suggestions I would love to hear them! If I choose your location I will send you a signed print from Paris.
